Durga Puja is an annual Hindu festival which celebrates worship of the Hindu goddess of power, Durga or Shakti
It was a mini-mela in each block with hawkers selling colorful things at every nook and corner. Every Pandal had a Bengali music band performing songs ranging from Bollywood to devotional ;)
